Ashlee, Practice Manager
Ashlee, a Michigan native, began her journey at Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital and Creature Comforts Inn in November 2017 after transferring from LaCroix Veterinary Hospital. Ashlee is exceptionally passionate about working with our clients and guests. She is an avid Detroit Red Wings fan and enjoys hiking with her three dogs in her spare time. Ashlee also is a cat lady at heart and has three of her own!
Ashleigh, Assistant Manager
Ashleigh, also a North Carolina State University graduate, joined our team in August 2017. Ashleigh has been in the veterinary field since high school, where she started as a kennel attendant. She has experience with small and exotic animals. When not working, you can find her at home with a zoo of her own! This includes a dog, cat, Senegal parrot, bearded dragon, and a crested gecko!
Emma, Kennel Technician
Emma has had animals her entire life and has worked with them for as long as she has been able to. She comes to us with experience from pet stores and even managing a horse barn! When not pampering our guests at CCI, you can find her welding, reading, or making art.
Katrina, Kennel Technician
Katrina graduated from Meredith College in 2017 with a bachelors in biology and minor in Spanish. She joined our team in May 2018. She has always had a soft spot for animals and especially enjoys helping with doggy daycare and getting to know our cats. In her free time, Katrina enjoys reading, working puzzles, and hanging out with her ragdoll cat, Misty!
Selina, Kennel Technician
Selina joined the Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital and Creature Comforts Inn team in December 2017. Selina is a North Carolina State University graduate and studied pre-veterinary medicine. Originally from New York, but now a North Carolina resident, Selina hopes to obtain a doctorate of veterinary medicine. Perhaps we have another new Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital veterinarian in the making!
Veronica, Kennel Technician
Veronica joined our team in October 2018 when she moved to Durham from Texas! While living in Texas, Veronica studied dental hygiene. Her boyfriend and her rescued an absolutely adorable stray last year, who they have named Worm. In her spare time, Veronica loves working with makeup and watching alien documentaries.
Koti, Kennel Technician
Our newest addition to our Creature Comforts Inn team, also comes to us with veterinary experience! Koti is both warm and welcoming to all of our guests. Her calm demeanor is a true asset to our guests, as she has a unique ability to make them feel calm.
Emily, Kennel Technician
Born and raised in Roxboro, Emily has years of experience working with horses and all types of animals big and small. She enjoys spending her time with her two Australian shepherds and blue heeler. In her free time, Emily shows horses in western pleasure and barrel racing.
Brittney, Kennel Technician
Brittney is another of our staff members that comes to us with a background in veterinary medicine. She loves working for Creature Comforts Inn because it doesn’t feel like work. To her, it feels likes a getaway where she can hang out with many amazing animals. She loves all of the purrsonalities!
Kamaryn, Kennel Technician
Kamaryn is originally from Florida and recently moved to North Carolina. So far she is really enjoying her new home. She has 6 pets and a 2 year old daughter. When she is not working, Kamaryn enjoys spending time with her small family and taking hikes with her daughter and fiance. Kamaryn is so excited to be working at CCI after being a stay at home mom for the past 2 years!
Taylor was born and raised in southern North Carolina. She enjoys being around her friends and family in her spare time but enjoys her job because she is surrounded by what she loves most, which is animals. She has a fluffy bunny named Naalah and a yorkie named Max that she adores.
Gray joined the Creature Comforts Inn team June 2018 but hails to us from Connecticut. She has years of grooming experience and it shows! Each guest in her care is returned to their owners looking and smelling fabulous. What is not to love!?
