For all boarders and daycare participants.
We want to ensure that your pet’s stay at Creature Comforts Inn is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
It is very important for the health of your dog or cat that they are current on all vaccinations. We want to provide the safest possible environment for your pet. We require all of our boarders and daycare participants to be current on all vaccines.
Please bring proof of these vaccines on or before your pets’ arrival date or daycare session. You can also have your veterinarian fax your pets’ vaccine history to us at (919) 402-8050. If you would like us to contact your veterinarian please let us know when you schedule your appointment.
Required Vaccines
Dogs
Current Rabies, DHLPP & Bordetella. Creature Comforts Inn also requires all pets to have proof of an up-to-date Fecal Exam from their veterinarians.
Cats
Current Rabies & FVRCP. Creature Comforts Inn also requires all pets to have proof of an up-to-date Fecal Exam from their veterinarians.
Boarding Policy
For the safety of our staff, we are unable to accommodate pets that display severe aggression or anxiety. Creature Comforts Inn cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items (see Belonging Policy below). We now charge $5/day per dog for food. If food is brought in, we do require that all food be brought in a sealed container or Ziploc bag labeled with your pet’s name. All medication must be brought in the prescription bottle labeled with the appropriate dosage. We are unable to administer medications that are not in the appropriate containers, injectable medications, or controlled drugs.
Creature Comforts Inn reserves the right to modify boarding accommodations for the health and safety of our guests. If your pet is staying in a suite but displays extreme anxiety, vocalization, or any kind of destructive behavior, they will need to be moved into a standard run or possibly another quiet area. We also require that all pets boarding in suites be well potty trained. If there are excessive eliminations in their suite during their stay we will need to move them to other accommodations for sanitary reasons. Any changes in accommodation will be communicated to you promptly and reflected on your invoice at pick up.
Belongings Policy
Creature Comforts Inn will no longer allow bones and toys to be brought in. This is to prevent destruction and loss of belongings, to maintain the cleanliness of the kennels, and ensure the safety of all the pets staying with us. We will still allow your own leashes, collars, food, medications, and bedding. Any bowls or toys will be provided by the facility.
Check-Out Time
Monday – Saturday: During resort hours.
We are close for Drop offs and pick-ups on Sundays.
Pick-ups outside of the allotted time will be charged another day of boarding.
